Why I Write

My name is Eric McInnis. Born in 1997, my love for film can be traced all the way back to watching classic Disney titles on VHS. Growing up on the spectrum, life was a frustrating one. It was always tough understanding other people and still is a challenge. But the world of film gave me a greater understanding of the greater world itself. It made me understand empathy, joy, confusion, fear, regret, pain. It gave me the avenue to expand myself and understand other people in the process. And it’s through my reviews I am able to express my emotions and understanding of the world.

My reviews largely consist of newer releases, though I am also currently in the middle of a series titled Plus or Minus that analyzes every film featured on the Disney+ streaming service in chronological order.
